Who We Are

Arcline Hosting is operated by Blake Ridgway as a sole proprietorship. When this policy refers to "we", "us", or "Arcline", it means Blake Ridgway / Arcline Hosting.

What We Collect

When you create an account or contact us, we collect:

• Name and email address
• Billing address and payment information (processed via our billing platform; card numbers are never stored on our servers)
• Technical information necessary to provision your service (domain names, server configuration)
• Support communications (email and ticket threads)

Our servers log standard access data (IP addresses, request timestamps, URLs, HTTP status codes) for security monitoring and troubleshooting. These logs are retained for 30 days and are not used for marketing or profiling.

What We Don't Collect

• No tracking cookies or browser fingerprinting on this website
• No Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or third-party trackers
• No behavioral or interest-based profiling
• We do not read or index the content of your hosted websites or files

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Provision and maintain your hosting account
• Process payments and send invoices
• Respond to support requests
• Send account-critical emails (billing notices, service alerts, policy updates)
• Investigate abuse or security incidents when required

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing profiling, or sale to third parties.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your account data and hosted files are stored on hardware owned and operated by Arcline Hosting. We do not use AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or any other cloud provider for primary storage or compute. No third-party CDN touches your traffic unless you configure one yourself.

Our billing platform (WHMCS) stores your account and payment records. Payment card processing is handled by our payment processor. We do not store raw card data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following limited cases:

• Payment processing: Your billing information is shared with our payment processor solely to complete transactions.
• Legal obligations: We will disclose data if required by a valid legal order (subpoena, court order). We will notify you of any such request unless legally prohibited from doing so.
• Abuse investigations: In cases of serious abuse, we may share relevant data with affected parties or law enforcement.

Data Retention

Account data is retained for the life of your account, plus 90 days after cancellation (to allow for account recovery). After that, your data is deleted.

Server access logs are retained for 30 days. Support tickets are retained for 2 years.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Object to processing in certain circumstances

Security

Access to our systems is protected by SSH key authentication, firewall rules via pfSense / OPNsense, and principle-of-least-privilege access controls. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure. If you discover a security issue, please report it to us responsibly via the contact page.

Cookies

This website uses only a session cookie required for account login. No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party cookies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify active customers by email before any material changes take effect.
