No. Every project starts with a scoping conversation and a fixed-price proposal. Retainers are optional, offered for ongoing managed services (email, monitoring, patching) where you want continuous coverage.
We aim to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours, usually faster. Active client support tickets target a response under 4 hours for urgent technical issues.
BSD and Unix are our specialization, but we work across Linux (Ubuntu Server, Fedora Server, Debian, RHEL), Windows Server, and Windows 10/11 workstations. Mixed environments are common and we handle them without issue.
Based in the United States. Most work is done remotely via SSH and VPN. On-site is available for training engagements and hardware deployments within the US. Contact us with your location and we'll confirm availability.
